Creating User Groups for Device State Sync and Enrollment

  1. In the BlackBerry UEM sidebar menu, click Groups:
  2. Click the Add User Group icon to the right of the search bar:
  3. Add the following groups one at a time:

    Lookout MES - ActivatedDevices with Lookout activated
    Lookout MES - DeactivatedDeactivated devices
    Lookout MES - DisconnectedDevices that have lost connectivity with Lookout
    Lookout MES - UnreachableDevices that are unreachable by Lookout
    Lookout MES - PendingDevices that have not activated Lookout yet
    Lookout MES - Threats PresentCompromised devices
    Lookout MES - SecuredSecured devices
    Lookout MES - Low RiskLow risk devices
    Lookout MES - Moderate RiskModerate risk devices
    Lookout MES - High RiskHigh risk devices
  4. Create a user group for enrolling devices in Lookout for Work.

    If you are using MAM or Dual Enrollment, name the group accordingly. To review enrollment options, see Enrollment methods.

    Recommended NameDescription
    Lookout for WorkCompany devices enrollment group for iOS DEP, Android Fully Managed, and Android Work Profile devices.
    Lookout MAMMobile App Management enrollment group for personal devices.
    Lookout Dual EnrollmentDual Enrollment group for Android Work Profile devices that should also install Lookout for Work on the personal profile.
  5. (Optional) If you are using more than one Lookout tenant in order to use multiple enrollment methods, create an additional user group per tenant.
