Creating User Groups for Device State Sync and Enrollment
- In the BlackBerry UEM sidebar menu, click Groups:
- Click the Add User Group icon to the right of the search bar:
- Add the following groups one at a time:
Name Description Lookout MES - Activated Devices with Lookout activated Lookout MES - Deactivated Deactivated devices Lookout MES - Disconnected Devices that have lost connectivity with Lookout Lookout MES - Unreachable Devices that are unreachable by Lookout Lookout MES - Pending Devices that have not activated Lookout yet Lookout MES - Threats Present Compromised devices Lookout MES - Secured Secured devices Lookout MES - Low Risk Low risk devices Lookout MES - Moderate Risk Moderate risk devices Lookout MES - High Risk High risk devices - Create a user group for enrolling devices in Lookout for Work.
If you are using MAM or Dual Enrollment, name the group accordingly. To review enrollment options, see Enrollment methods.
Recommended Name Description Lookout for Work Company devices enrollment group for iOS DEP, Android Fully Managed, and Android Work Profile devices. Lookout MAM Mobile App Management enrollment group for personal devices. Lookout Dual Enrollment Dual Enrollment group for Android Work Profile devices that should also install Lookout for Work on the personal profile. - (Optional) If you are using more than one Lookout tenant in order to use multiple enrollment methods, create an additional user group per tenant.
