Reusing the Enrollment Code for Dual Enrollments

  • If your IT Policy allows copy and paste across profiles, users can copy their enrollment code at the end of the Lookout for Work client work profile activation. They can then paste it into the personal profile.
  • If your IT Policy does not allow copy and paste across profiles, you can direct users to take note of the enrollment code manually and then manually enter it into the Lookout for Work client in their personal profile.
  • Alternatively, if you are using email activations, users can forward the activation email to their personal email address to get the code.

  • To determine if an IT Policy allows for copy and paste across profiles:

    1. In the BlackBerry UEM sidebar menu, click Policies and profiles, then under POLICY click IT Policies:

    2. For each IT policy that applies to your Dual Enrollment user group:
      1. Click the policy.
      2. Click the Android tab.
      3. Scroll down to Security and privacy and verify Allow cross profile copy and paste.

If you are using Dual Enrollment, users can reuse the Lookout for Work enrollment code from the work profile in their personal profile. This means both profiles will use the same policy settings and report as a single device.
