Apply Custom Category to a Policy

When creating or updating a policy, you can specify a user agent as a context type and select custom categories for that user agent type.

Under Administration > System Settings > Enterprise Authentication, a default allow list of user agent patterns is available, which you can use to configure the user agents for the policy.

Because user agents are now included in a prompt, you will need to view those policies and select user agents.

You can assign a policy action to a custom category. For example, if you have a list of web URLs for which you want to deny access, you can specify Deny as the policy action for all of the sites listed in that category. The name of the assigned policy will appear in the Category Management list.

For information about configuring policies, see Creating policies for data protection and application security.
