Contribute to Knowledge Base

You can contribute to the Knowledge Base by suggesting edits to the current risk score or categories of a cloud. You can enter your suggestions by clicking Suggest Edit in the cloud detail view.

Perform the following steps to complete the form when it appears. All fields are optional. Complete the form to the best of your knowledge. The more information you provide, the better the research team can evaluate your suggestions.

Enter suggestions for general information about the cloud. (The existing values appear in boldface next to the field label.)

Name Enter the proposed name for the cloud.
Category Select one or more proposed categories. If a preferred category is not listed, click Add New and enter the category name. Then, click Apply.
Risk Score Select a risk score you feel is appropriate for the cloud.
Reasons for your suggestion Enter a reason for your suggestion (up to 500 characters).

Click Show Advanced Options to configure additional settings. Then, complete the information as appropriate.

Complete the Environment section.

Cloud Hosting Location Select a country that indicates the hosting location for the cloud.
Control Over Hosting Environment

Select the hosting provider. Then:

Select Own datacenter, or select 3rd party datacenter, and check the boxes for the selections that apply to this cloud. If a data center is not listed, click Add New and enter the name.

Click Apply when done.

Type of Data Check the boxes that apply to the type of data for your suggestion or Select All. For each data type, click the right arrow icon at the left to view additional choices. If a data type is not listed, click Add New and enter the name for the data type.
SLA by Cloud Provider Select Yes, No, or Unknown to indicate whether an SLA exists for the cloud.
Service Outage Enter the percentage of service outages reported over the last year.
Multi-Tenancy Select Yes, No, or Unknown to indicate if the service provider supports multi-tenancy.
Number of Users Select the number of users for this cloud.
Customer Support

Select the type(s) of customer service for this cloud and click

Apply.

Type of Usage Select the type(s) of usage for this cloud and click Apply.
Business Continuity Select the method by which business continuity plans are verified - Documented, Tested, or Unknown.

Complete the Compliance section.

Compliance Select the types of compliance met by this cloud. If a compliance type is not listed, click Add New and enter the name. Then, click Apply.
Known Compliance Violations Select any known non-compliance by checking the appropriate boxes and click Apply.
Certificates Select the certificates applicable to this cloud and click Apply. If a certificate is not listed, click Add New, and enter the certificate name.

Complete the Privacy & Security section.

Privacy Policy Link Enter the applicable privacy policy link
Privacy Statement Violation Select Yes, No, or Unknown to indicate whether a privacy statement violation exists.
Security controls Select the type of security controls for this cloud.
Data at Rest Encryption Select Yes, No, or Unknown to indicate whether the cloud service provider encrypts data at rest.
Login Security Select the security options provided by the cloud and click Apply.

Complete the Contact Information.

Are You the Cloud Provider? Select Yes or No to indicate whether you are the cloud provider.
Email Enter your email address if you want Lookout to follow up with you by email.
Phone Number Enter your phone number if you want Lookout to follow up with you by phone.

Click Submit after entering all of your proposed edits. Your suggestions will be sent to the Lookout Knowledge Base.
