Setting up Lookout Tenants for Multi-Tenancy

Disabling Device Group Creation on a Tenant

By default, MES Console Administrators can still create Device Groups on a tenant that is part of a multi-tenancy deployment. You can prevent MES Console Administrators from creating new Device Groups by disabling the option from the Multi-Tenancy Admin Console.

  1. Click Tenants in the left navigation bar, then click the tenant you wish to modify.
  2. On the Tenant Details screen, click the Device Policy Groups tab.
  3. Toggle Allow admins of this tenant to create groups to OFF:
