Major Tasks for Configuring the Multi-Tenancy (MT) Administrator's Console

Lookout Enterprise Support handles the initial configuration of your MT environment. They create your organization and add the first Super Admin. Then, they add your Lookout tenants to the organization.

  1. If you are using AAD for Single Sign-On, create a user group to control access to the MT Admin Console, and one or more user groups for Lookout administrator permission levels.
  2. Configure the AAD SSO integration in the MT Admin Console.
  3. Set up policy groups to apply different protection policies to different tenants.
  4. Configure protection policies in the MT Admin Console.
  5. Configure Phishing and Content Protection in the MT Admin Console.
  6. Configure On Device Threat Remediation in the MT Admin Console.
  7. For each tenant in your environment:
    1. Create a user group in AAD to control access to the tenant, and move tenant administrators into the group.
    2. Set a default policy group from the MT Admin Console.
    3. Assign any additional policy groups from the MT Admin Console.
    4. From the tenant, move devices into the respective policy groups.
