Customize Notification Messages

You can set the default custom message that will be included in all notifications to end users for policy violations. This content could include a link to your support organization. You can further customize messages for any Policy classification.

The custom notification messages feature is available in MES Advanced and Premium editions serving client apps such as Lookout for Work that support this feature. Some custom client apps do not yet support custom messages and this feature is not available in these cases.

  1. Click the custom message (page) icon in the far-right column of the policy classification.
  2. Uncheck Inherit parent custom message.
  3. Enter or modify content as needed.
    This content will precede remediation content provided by lookout for that classification.
