Assigning Lookout Custom Attributes to Devices

Assigning Attributes to iOS Device Enrollment Program (DEP) Devices

You can bulk assign Lookout custom attributes to any iOS devices included in your Device Enrollment Program. If you add new devices to the DEP, Ivanti Neurons for MDM automatically assigns the custom attributes to those new devices as well. See this Ivanti Documentation topic ‘Device Enroillment’ for additional Guidance.

This approach requires at least a Ivanti Neurons for MDM Premium package, and assumes you have already enrolled at least one iOS device in your fleet under the Device Enrollment Program.

  1. In the Ivanti Neurons for MDM Admin Portal, navigate to Admin > Apple > Device Enrollment.


  2. If you have enrolled devices, click Actions and click Assign DEP Device Attributes:

Click + Add New and add the LookoutEnrolled, LookoutDeviceState, LookoutUnreachable, LookoutThreatLevel, and LookoutDeviceDisconnected custom attributes you created in Creating Custom Attributes for Enrollment and Device State Sync.Lookout adds devices with the LookoutEnrolled attribute to the Lookout MES Console Devices list with a "Pending" status.
