Assigning Lookout Custom Attributes to Devices

Assigning Attributes to Devices via a .CSV File Upload

You can do a one-time custom attribute assignment to devices that already exist in Ivanti Neurons for MDM by assigning the Lookout attributes from a CSV file.

  1. In the Ivanti Neurons for MDM Admin Portal, navigate to Devices.
  2. Click the Bulk Assign via Upload button (next to Actions):
  3. Click Download template.
  4. Populate the CSV file using the tool of your choice.
    An example of a valid format in plain text is:
    02abcd1234c3cd56,John Smith,${device.LookoutDeviceDisconnected},${device.LookoutDeviceState},${device.LookoutDeviceUnreachable},${device.LookoutEnrolled},${device.LookoutThreatLevel}

    This should all be a single line in your text file.

  5. Select Force assign (overwrite) all attributes even if any existing values are found or confirm that it is already selected.
  6. Click Choose File and select the updated CSV file, then click Upload.

    Ivanti Neurons for MDM displays a confirmation message if the upload is successful:
