Deploying Lookout for Work

Pushing the Lookout for Work Installation from Ivanti EPMM

If you want to push the install request yourself and force a device check-in to immediately trigger compliance updates, you can do so from Ivanti EPMM:

  1. Log in to the Ivanti EPMM Admin Portal.
  2. In the top navigation tabs, click Apps > App Catalog and search for Lookout for Work.
  3. Select the Lookout for Work app for either iOS or Android and click Actions > Send Installation Request:

    The Send App Installation Request window appears.

  4. Under Actions, select Select labels to send message and click Apply.

    The Select Labels to Send Message window appears.

  5. Search for Lookout for Work and select the enrollment label, then click Send.
  6. If you are deploying Lookout for Work for both iOS and Android, repeat the steps above for whichever version you did not select in Step 3.
  7. In the top navigation tabs, click Devices & Users > Devices
  8. In the Type label to filter field, search for Lookout for Work and select the enrollment label.
  9. Select the devices and click Action > Force Device Check-In.
    This forces an immediate check-in with Ivanti EPMM.
