Preparing XenMobile for Integration

Creating an API User in XenMobileˆ

As a best practice, you should create an API User for use solely between Lookout and XenMobile. This ensures that communication between Lookout MES and XenMobile is restricted to a single set of credentials.

  1. In the top navigation bar, click Manage > Users, then click Add Local User:
  2. Enter the following settings:


    FieldValue
    User name 
    MESAPI
    Password(Use a familiar set of Admin credentials).
    RoleSelect the API_USER role you created in Creating an API User Role.
    MembershipSelect the local\API User group you created in Creating User Groups.
  3. Click Save.
    Verify that your newly-created API user appears in the Users list.
