Prepare SOTI MobiControl for Integration

Create a Device Group and Custom Attributes for Device State Sync

Lookout uses a SOTI MobiControl device group to identify devices to enroll, and it uses SOTI MobiControl custom attributes to synchronize a device's state to SOTI MobiControl.

  1. Follow SOTI MobiControl’s guide to create a device group, e.g. LookoutEnrolledDevices, and add the devices you want to enroll in Lookout to the new device group: https://www.soti.net/mc/help/v15.3/en/console/devices/managing/groups/create_device_group.html
  2. Create these custom attributes by following SOTI MobiControl’s guide to create custom attributes: https://www.soti.net/mc/help/v15.3/en/console/data/customattributes/creating.html
