Prepare SOTI MobiControl for Integration

Create an API User

As a best practice, Lookout recommends creating an API user for use solely between Lookout and SOTI MobiControl. This ensures that communication between Lookout MES and SOTI MobiControl is restricted to a single set of credentials.

  1. Follow SOTI MobiControl’s guide to add a user: https://www.soti.net/mc/help/v15.3/en/console/users/add_user.html?hl=adding%2Cusers
  2. Add the user to the MobiControl Administrators user group, which grants all permissions to that user.
