Initial Deployment

Verify User Access

To ensure that you have completed all the steps in this guide correctly, test the configuration and confirm that the proxy redirects traffic and the certificate is in place.

  1. On the end user’s machine, access https://sse.lookoutdemo.com/.
    If you configured the certificate and proxy correctly, you will be redirected to authenticate with the IdP.
  2. When the website loads, access the site certificate by clicking the lock icon next to the URL.
    Open the certificate and verify that, in the Issued By section, the Common Name (CN) value is the name of the forward proxy’s certificate.

    The next sections provide deployment instructions for the Secure Internet Access (SWG), Cloud Security Broker (CASB) and Secure Private Access (ZTNA) components.
