Configuration Steps

Create OAuth Client ID

An OAuth client app is required for enabling GCP monitoring. Perform these steps for creating an OAuth client application (Client ID):

  1. In the Google Cloud Platform, access the Credentials page.

  2. From the Projects list, select the project containing your API.
  3. From the Create Credentials prompt, select OAuth client ID.

  4. From the prompt, select Web application as the application type.

  5. In the Application field, enter a Name.

  6. Fill in the remaining fields as needed.
  7. To add a redirect URL, click Add URI.

  8. Enter the redirect URL provided by the Lookout Professional Services team and click Create.

    A message appears with the Client ID and the Client secret. You will need this information when you onboard the Google Cloud Platform application.
