Configure Cloud Risk Scores

Secure Cloud Access calculates cloud risk scores in terms of security, compliance, environment, and privacy. These calculations are stored in the Knowledge Base. The scores are displayed in cloud lists (Discover > Cloud App Discovery).

Because organizations have different security and compliance needs, you can modify the default risk factor levels by adjusting the scores or the risk score weightings.

  1. In the Management Console, select Discover > Cloud App Discovery.
  2. Select the Clouds tab.
  3. Click the Cloud Riskiness Knowledge Base tab.
  4. Select the row for the cloud application whose score you want to adjust.
  5. Click the pencil icon next to the risk score.
  6. From the Select score prompt, select a new risk score value.
    Or click the Set Default link to set the default risk score for the cloud.

  7. (Optional) Enter a comment about the change in score.
  8. Click Save.

    The new risk score appears, and the row for the updated cloud appears in red to indicate that the risk score is no longer the default score.

  9. If a comment has been entered about a changed risk score, an icon appears.
    Click the icon to view the comment.
