Onboard SaaS App
Secure Cloud Access helps protect managed and unmanaged SaaS apps. You must onboard these apps before you can create access control policies for them. This example onboards the Slack application.
Secure Cloud Access offers several different protection models to choose from during the onboarding process. For every cloud application you onboard, you must select at least one of these protection models:
- App Access: Enables real-time SaaS application access and sharing controls.
-
API Access: Enables SaaS application content and sharing controls via APIs.
In this guide, we provide instructions for both protection models. For information on additional protection models, see the Lookout Cloud Security Platform Administrator Guide in your tenant.
To follow this example, you must have Slack already set up and running in your enterprise. Make a note of the URL when signed in to Slack; you will need that information during the onboarding process.
