Perform One-Time Log Ingestion
- Select Administration > Enterprise Integration.
- Select Log Agents from the menu.
- Click the One Time tab if it is not already selected.
- Click Upload Logs.
- The Upload Logs form is displayed.
- In the Log Process Name field, enter a name for the log agent.
- Select a proxy type for the log agent from the prompt.
- Select a format.
If you will be using Palo Alto Networks, refer to Configuring log ingestion for Palo Alto Networks.
- To use an existing format, select a format from the prompt.
- To add a new format, select Add New Format from the prompt. Then, follow Steps 5a through 5d in the section Performing continuous log ingestion.
- Click Browse and select log files to upload.These files serve as proxy logs from which Secure Cloud Access will draw data to analyze unsanctioned cloud applications. Choose one or more log files, making sure that the total size of the files you select is not greater than 1 GB.
Compressed file types such as ZIP files are not supported.
- Click Save and Next.
If you are using an existing format, the mapping for that format is displayed.
- Click Save and Next.
The new log agent appears in the One Time log agent list. The checkmark indicates that the log processing status is active.
