Configuring EMM
Enterprise mobility management (EMM) is a set of processes and technology that helps enterprises identify the mobile devices used in their businesses and aid in preventing unauthorized access to a company’s data. EMM can assist in strengthening protection of data stored and transmitted on mobile devices used in the workplace. Because more employees are using their personal devices as part of their work, the corporate data on those devices is at greater risk because a company has less control over the applications and files used by employees. In addition, the devices themselves are more easily lost or stolen because of their portability.
In Secure Cloud Access, administrators can apply VMware AirWatch or Microsoft InTune EMM technology to provide greater control over data on employee mobile devices. You can use EMM to allow decryption only for files on a managed device.
