Certificate information is used in several types of configurations throughout the system and is required in order for those configurations to work. The gateway needs a certificate for data proxy and browser interactions with the Management Console.

Certificate management for cloud deployments will be handled by Lookout. You can configure additional certificates for on-premise use or for integration with third-party systems as needed.

The following sections describe the types of certificates available for use, and instructions for importing or generating additional certificates if needed.
