Setting up Organization-Level Admin Access and Protection Policies

Locating AAD Tenant IDs and Group Object IDs

  1. Log in to the Azure Active Directory admin center as an AAD Global Administrator.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Azure Active Directory.
  3. To locate your AAD Tenant ID:
    1. In the Azure Active Directory blade, under Manage, click Properties.
    2. Scroll to the Tenant ID and click the copy button to the right of the field:

    This copies the ID to the clipboard.

  4. To locate an AAD Group Object ID:
    1. In the Azure Active Directory blade, under Manage, click Groups.
      The Groups blade opens to All groups.
    2. Click the name of the group from the list.
      Azure opens the group overview.
    3. Locate the Object Id field and click the copy button to the right of the field:
