Platform Support for Secure DNS Feature

The Secure DNS option sets Lookout as the private DNS resolver for the device. Devices send domain information (or DNS requests) to the DNS service for resolution, where they are checked for safety. Safe domains are allowed to be resolved by the service. Unsafe domains are not resolved further and the devices are notified that the domain could not be resolved due to it being phishing, malicious, unauthorized, or denylisted content.

Platform requirements for using Secure DNS.

iOS: Secure DNS is supported on iOS 14 and higher running Lookout for Work version 7.2 or higher. VPN is allowed but not required.

Android: Secure DNS is supported on any device that supports the Lookout for Work app version 7.2 or higher. VPN use is required for this option.
