What do the Device States mean?

Device states are explained below.

Device State Description
Pending The device is marked for enrollment in Lookout, either because it is part of the enrollment user group configured in the Integration settings for your MDM, or because it has received an invitation email directly from the Lookout MES Console. However, the user either hasn't installed the Lookout for Work app, or has not activated it after installation.
Activated Lookout for Work is installed and activated on the device.
Deactivated Lookout for Work was previously activated on the device, but is no longer active.
Unreachable Lookout has attempted to communicate with the device and received an "unregistered" response.
Disconnected

Lookout has attempted to communicate with the device and received no response for a specified amount of time (30 days by default), indicating that the device may be off, out of Wi-Fi range, or some other temporary cause.

You can configure the minimum time before a device is considered disconnected in The Enrollment Settings Tab. Typically, expect a mobile device in normal operation to connect to Lookout at least once every three days.

Secured The device has no threats present, or the only threats present have a Risk Level of "None" in the Lookout MES Console Protections module.
Threats Present The device has a threat present. This status is accompanied by one of the three device states below, based on the threat type's risk level in the Lookout MES Console Protections module.
Low Risk The device has a Low Risk threat present.
Medium Risk The device has a Medium Risk threat present.
High Risk The device has a High Risk threat present.
