Requirements for Intune Mobile Application Management

  • Global Administrator access to AAD and Intune.
  • An AAD user group for BYOD devices.
  • Devices must be running Lookout for Work 6.1 or higher and must not be managed in Intune.
  • Android devices must be running Company Portal app version 5.0.4560 or higher.
  • To secure iOS apps, devices must be running versions of those apps that use the Intune SDK 12.0.15 or higher. These currently include:
    • Microsoft Dynamics
    • Microsoft Edge
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Outlook
    • Microsoft PowerPoint
    • Microsoft Word
    • Microsoft Office Lens
    • Microsoft Office Mobile
    • Microsoft OneNote
    • Microsoft Planner
    • Microsoft SharePoint
    • Microsoft OneDrive
    • Microsoft To Do
    • Microsoft Teams

      As part of the unmanaged device registration with Intune, several Microsoft prerequisites must be met before Lookout can be installed.

  • Android - The user will be prompted to install and sign into Company Portal
  • iOS - The user will be prompted to install and sign into Company Portal OR Microsoft Authenticator
