Major Tasks for Deploying Lookout with Ivanti EPMM
Below is a high level overview of the setup process for Lookout Mobile Endpoint Security (MES) with Ivanti EPMM:
- Create an API user in Ivanti EPMM.
- Create Ivanti EPMM labels to indicate enrollment groups.
- Create Ivanti EPMM custom attributes or labels to indicate device states.
- Create security policies for each of the MES threat levels (Low, Moderate, and High Risk):
- Create an always-on compliance trigger.
- Create a compliance action.
- Create a security policy that executes the action.
- Assign the policy to devices with the MES threat level custom attributes or labels from Step 3.
- Add the Android Lookout for Work app to Apps@Work with Zero Touch Activation
- Adding the iOS Lookout for Work app to Apps@Work with Zero Touch Activation
- Configure the Ivanti EPMM Connector from the MES Console.
- Deploy Lookout for Work.
- Monitor device status in Lookout MES to see when users activate Lookout for Work on their devices.
