Adding Lookout for Work to MaaS360

Adding and Deploying the Android Lookout for Work App

  1. In the MaaS360 Admin Portal, navigate to APPS > Catalog and click Add > Android > Google Play App:


  2. Select Add via Public Google Play Store, then below the App Name field, click Provide URL:


  3. In the Google Play URL for App field, enter https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lookout.enterprise


  4. In the App Name field, enter Lookout for Work.
  5. Click the Policies and Distribution tab, then set the following:


    SettingValue
    Remove App onCheck MDM Control Removal and Selective Wipe
    Instant SettingsCheck Instant Install.
    Distribute toSet to Group and select your test user group. Add additional groups or individual devices if necessary.
  6. Click Add, then enter your password and click Continue.
    MaaS360 adds the app.
  7. Once the app is created, select it from the App Catalog, then in the upper right corner click More > Edit App Configurations:


  8. Click Check for Settings.
    MaaS360 auto-detects the relevant app config fields.
  9. Set the following case sensitive values:


    Configuration KeyValue
    MDM name 
    MAAS360
    MDM Device ID 
    %deviceid%
    Android ID(leave blank)
    Identification(leave blank)
    Global Enrollment Code

    Enter the alphanumeric Enrollment Code from the System > Account screen in your Lookout MES Console.

    For example, IOSDMOR:

    Dual Enrollment

    Device Unique Identifier

    (leave blank)

    This value is used to correlate devices when using an unsupported MDM. It is not used for MaaS360 integrations.

  10. Click Save.
