Deploying Lookout with Google Cloud BeyondCorp

Major Tasks for Deploying Lookout with Google Cloud BeyondCorp

  1. Configure Lookout as your BeyondCorp Alliance Security Partner
  2. Create and configure the GCI Connector in the Lookout MES Console.
  3. Distribute Lookout for Work to end users in either Basic or Advanced Management Mode:

    In Basic mode, users must download the app from the Google Play Store or iOS App Store and activate it by logging into their Google account.

    In Advanced mode, Google pushes the Lookout for Work app and app config to Android Enterprise devices, along with a Global Enrollment Code that automatically activates the app. For iOS, Google pushes only the Lookout for Work app to devices. iOS users manually configure and activate the app.

  4. Monitor user activations from the Lookout MES Console.
  5. Configure Security Policies in Lookout MES Console.
    Based on these policies, Lookout assigns a risk level to each device and communicates risk levels to the Google Admin Console as a Device Health Score.
  6. Configure Context Aware Access in the Google Admin Console.
    Google enforces these policies based on each device's Device Health Score.
