Distributing Lookout for Work in Basic Mode

End User Activation Flow in Basic Mode

  1. Download Lookout for Work from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  2. Launch the app and tap Sign in with Google.
  3. Follow the prompts to accept permissions.

    1. Users click Sign in with Google.
    2. Users enter their Google email address and password when prompted.
    3. Users accept permissions which are needed for identifying the device and sending Lookout device states to Google’s API.


    On entering the correct activation code, the application activates and connects to Google.

    1. Users must enter their Global Activation Code or invitation which is sent to their email address.



    The MES console shows the device is successfully connected to the Google Cloud connector.



    The Device states (Secure, High, Medium, and Low) map to Google’s Device States and are communicated to Google’s API and displayed in the Google Admin console under Third Party Services.
