Assigning Lookout for Work to User Groups
Once you have added the Lookout for Work mobile app(s) to UEM, you can assign them to user groups from the Groups page.
- In the BlackBerry UEM sidebar menu, click Groups:
- Select the
Lookout for Workenrollment group you created in Creating User Groups for Enrollment and Device State Sync. - On the group page, click the + icon on the far right of the Assigned Apps list to assign an app.
- Search for
Lookout for Workand select the iOS and Android apps, then click Next: - Select the Lookout for Work iOS App Config for the iOS app and the Lookout for Work Android App Config for the Android app.
- Set the app disposition:
- If you are deploying to company managed devices or using Dual Enrollment, set the Disposition to Required for both apps:
Marking the app as Required allows you to trigger a compliance policy as documented in Requiring the Lookout for Work App.
- If you are using MAM enrollment, set Disposition to Optional.
BES UEM cannot read the list of apps on a personal device, so it cannot enforce a Required app.
- If you are deploying to company managed devices or using Dual Enrollment, set the Disposition to Required for both apps:
- Click Assign.
A success prompt displays and the apps display in the Assigned Apps list for the group.
